HWC is a trauma-sensitive community response designed to support children's mental health and well-being following a traumatic event. HWC promotes safe and supportive homes, schools and communities by helping children who have been impacted by a traumatic event to heal and thrive.
Through police, school, hospital and community partnerships, we support children who have been exposed to trauma in receiving appropriate interventions to help them with social emotional and academic achievement.
