Today is National Tortilla Chip Day!
During the month of February, in recognition of Black History month, we wish to recognize an important figure or moment that has helped to shape our nation. We also wish to show these people and events connect to Murdock’s Core Values in Respect, Responsibility, Accountability, Integrity & Empathy
Tues Feb 24th Today we remember the Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches Despite violence and intimidation, ordinary people took responsibility for securing democratic rights for all. This moment challenges us to practice empathy by understanding why access to voting matters and to protect it.
As a reminder-No ear buds are allowed at Murdock. If you have them, they must be stored either in your yonder pouch or backpack until the end of the day and should not be in your ears. ONLY wired headphones are allowed and can be used only for classroom assignments at teachers discretion. Wireless headphones are not permissible for use.
Attention Juniors & Seniors: We will have a college workshop on Thursday during period 6 to talk about the college success academy and future workshops and trips. Sign up in the guidance office.
There will be a Freshmen TOP meeting on Wednesday Feb 25th after school in Ms. Fitz-P’s room. All cast and crew should plan to attend.
